Twist Direction
According to the difference in the direction of twisting and rotation, the twist direction of the yarn is divided into two types: S twist and Z twist. The twist direction of the yarn also has a certain impact on the appearance and feel of the fabric. For example, if yarns with different twist directions are configured in the same system (warp or weft), the surface of the fabric can show a hidden stripe effect; if yarns with different twist directions are configured in the warp and weft directions, the fabric will have better luster and a thicker and softer feel; if the same system is configured in the warp and weft directions, The yarn with twist direction has thinner fabric, better body structure, higher strength, but weaker luster.
