Gloss: Because all use satin weaving. Both have good gloss. But usually silk is brighter than satin. And the reflected light is softer.
Feel: Satin feels harder because it is made of chemical fibers. But with the improvement of the technology, satin can also have a softer feel.
Breathability: The breathability of silk is much better than that of satin. Satin can improve breathability through post-treatment.
Color fastness: The color fastness of satin is much better than silk. Since silk cannot be dyed at high temperature, its color fastness cannot meet the standard of chemical fibers.
Durability: Silk is very fragile. Most people can tear with their bare hands without tools. The durability of satin is very good.

Weight: The thickness unit of silk is "momme". The thickness unit of satin is "gsm". Conversion formula: momme*4.3056=gsm. The thickness of silk satin on the market is fixed. 12momme/14momme/16momme/19momme/22momme/25momme.If you manage to get 50momme silk, the seller must be a liar.
Fiber count: silk usually has 2 or 4 fibers per yarn. Satin has more than 40 fibers per yarn.
Burning: The smell of silk burning is the same as the smell of burning hair. The smell of burning satin is a special aroma.

84 Disinfectant: Fibers such as silk, cotton, and wool can be dissolved in 84 Disinfectant. And chemical fiber will not.
